When the domes of the body – feet, pelvic floor, diaphragm, palate, and skull – have lost their dynamic coordination and rhythm, a whole host of problems can arise.

There is no such thing as just a pelvic floor problem, a posture problem, or a low back problem. 

These are symptoms of a neurological shift. You no longer know – at the deepest, unconscious level – how your body is intended to work. And it all begins with the breath.

What if the way you breathe, something that should be so automatic, has somehow become a bit confused? What if the natural rise and fall of all the diaphragms (yes, you have more than one) is no longer happening with ease?

It isn’t just about muscle strength in the core or pelvic floor. It is also about timing, releasing and responsiveness. It is about feeling/being ALIVE throughout your body.

How Does it Work?

For years, I have been playing with how the tongue and mouth affect the health of our feet and pelvic floor. How the domes of the body are coordinated and rhythmic.

 

I have put that play into a series that includes Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement and my own unique, highly meaningful, somatic explorations to make health in those “hard to influence” places easy.

 

You have likely tried the normal routes to postural, low back and pelvic floor health. Physical Therapy. Exercise. The latest gadget on the internet. Medications/creams. And you may have had some success with those approaches. But something has been missing. You still aren’t confident when walking about in the world. The pain hasn’t resolved. Going about your day takes planning.
