Bones for Life for the Active (an intermediate/advanced series)
In this series we will explore getting up and down from the floor, regaining equilibrium, and learning to fall softly. All will be done gradually and with ease, but you do need to be injury free and active for this class.
Instructor: Cynthia Allen, Feldenkrais Practitioner and Senior Trainer in Movement Intelligence. Cynthia was also a principal researcher in the referenced study. You will be exploring a proven method with a skilled teacher and trainer in the Bones for Life approach.
Bring a mat or blanket and a towel. Please be prepared to remove your shoes unless you need to keep them on for medical reasons. If you cannot get up and down from the floor with support and need a raised surface, please contact us ahead of time so we can plan together to meet your needs.
Class minimums and maximums have been established. Please register early to insure your place in the class.
