How do you know yourself? Your structure? Your Whole? You may not realize this but you have a map, actually many maps, in your brain that define you and how you relate to the world. These maps are invaluable and at the same time terribly incomplete and even faulty. That is the nature of map making. While cartographers are continually researching uncharted lands or revising maps of long known areas, we humans don’t really have a plan for that. But we need one. Wow, do we need one. Having a way to do this is the difference between recovery and dis-ease; elegance and clunky; stress and harmony; feeling old and feeling vibrant.
This series will help you become a better map maker of your own landscape using some of Dr. Feldenkrais’ primary image lessons. These lessons are powerful for all.
P.S. If you know someone with hyper mobility this is a series they truly need.
Instructor: Cynthia Allen, Feldenkrais Practitioner and Senior Trainer in Movement Intelligence.
*Note: There will be a substitute teacher on July 29th.
